WorkAbility Network Launches Web Services

Rick WickstromWorkAbility Network has updated its website to better support its transitional work program (TWP) affiliates and therapy providers. Individuals may now register online for membership to receive the WorkAbility Insider Newsletter, search online for provider locations, and request access to documents, including:

  • Company-specific TWP materials such as Workability Job Profiles.
  • TWP Development “Best Practice” manual materials.
  • Provider training materials and reporting templates.

Unraveling the Mystery of Disability Determination

BWC Discontinues Transitional Work Grants:
What's Next for Employers?

The Ohio Bureau of Workers” Compensation (BWC) recently announced its plans to discontinue the Transitional Work Grant$ program effective December 31, 2006. Since late in 2001, this grant has helped pay for over 8000 state funded employers to develop formalized return-to-work programs (Transitional Work Programs).
